The one thing that first struck me with Titan Poker is the amount of promotions they run!
Current promotions include a $2,000,000 guranteed tournament on March 2nd 2008.
Holiday promotions (such as Valentines day promotions, christmas and new year etc) These basiclly involve playing any standard ring games and being entered in to a prize draw. Prizes vary on the compeition etc.
$100,000 Omaholics promotion. This doesn't just involve a great pun, basiclly the player who plays the most raked hands over 2 months can walk away with up to $100,000
Not only do titan run all these promotions they also offer seats at some of the Worlds biggest offline poker tournaments such as the WSOP and WSOP europe to other smaller tournaments such as the Irish Open.
Titan poker use the 'Playtech' software which is one of the most popular non-custom built software on the market. Although the software can be rather slow and buggy at times, also the installtion is rather slow (after downloading the main setup file you have to wait for it to download all the extra images etc)
Titan run 5 freeroll tournaments each day with prizes ranging from $50-$100 (some of them you don't even need to deposit to play!) They also run a variety of point based tournaments (for loyal players to gain access to some of the bigger buy in tournaments.
As well as the freeroll tournaments titan offer some BIG prizes such as the $2,000,000 guranteed (mentioned above) and weekly tournaments with a guranteed prize pool of $75k on friday nights.
In general the competition at titan poker is pretty loose at lower levels (though not the loosest around) higher stakes tables can get very tough more so that pokerstars and ftp. Titan is well worth playing at in order to gain the descent $500 initial deposit match. But apart from that you won't find anything exceptional at this site. The players aren't to fishy and software not amazing. But if you just want a descent bonus with fast payouts then this site is well worth checking out.
