I'll be honest and say I had never heard of Sun Poker until I was looking through various poker forums and saw them advertised as such I was a bit dubious but thought I would give them a quick try anyway.
Upon visiting their website they offer a massive deposit bonus of $1,000 from a $500 deposit which seems to good to be true not to mention this a monthly bonus!! upon checking out the terms and conditions a bit further you will need to gather 9,000 points in order to release the full amount.
In order to achieve these points you need to wager the following:
Rake from 0 to 24 = 0 MPP
Rake from .25 to 0.99 = .25 MPP
Rake from $1 to $3 = 1 MPP
Tournament Fee’s $/£/€ 1 = 3 MPPs
so if you can pay 9,000 ring games at $1/$2 in a calendar month then it may well be worth checking this site out.
They also offer a $500 non deposit bonus (with 5,000 points required for withdrawl) but you obviously need to deposit as the bonus gets deposited in stages.

Sun Poker uses the wagerlogic software but the software is quite chunky but was quick to install.
After installing I went to checkout the tables and was quite disappinted to see the lack of players seated,most were seated at the $1/$2 tables (presumably to clear the bonus???)
However they do offer some good looking tournament packages with guranteed £100k prizes as well as 25 places to the WSOP worth $12k each.
The site certainly looks promising, they are certainly starting to attract more players with their tourneys and big signup and monthly bonuses. If you are a bonus hunter I would suggest checking this site out else I would wait for it to become more popular amongst online players.
